ADI has extensive experience with biogas handling, treatment and utilization systems. All of our systems are designed to meet or exceed local, state and federal safety codes and can be designed to meet the strictest air emissions limits. ADI equipment has a proven track record in this severe, highly corrosive service and a long history of high performance.
ADI offers complete design-build recovery and utilization systems which include:
- Gas collection, storage, compression and delivery systems
- Gas treatment for the removal of sediment, moisture/water vapor, hydrogen sulfide
(H2S), and carbon dioxide (CO2); and
- Utilization of multi-fueled boilers, gas turbines/microturbines and spark ignition engines with heat recovery.
Existing anaerobic treatment systems that do not currently utilize the biogas generated in the process can also be upgraded to recover this valuable energy source. As the cost of conventional energy sources continues to rise, biogas produced from wastes and wastewaters can provide a cost-effective and more environmentally sound alternative.
